Today closed another edition of the Open Source Business Conference – and if my experience was correct, the 2007 edition was the most successful yet. Personally, it was a fantastic event. Great for making contact with folks I had met online and remotely over the last year. Also great discussion around GPLv3 and the Microsoft-Novell relationship by the actual players involved from Microsoft, Novell and the FSF. All in, well worth the time. I will be back next year.
If you are interested in a copy of the materials from my presentation, “Open Source License Enforcement Actions: What to Expect When There is a Knock on Your Door” is available online. Thanks to Adam Cohn from Sun Microsystems and Cristy Hamley from Trolltech for their participation in the presentation.
Ping me with an email if I can answer any questions.
